Cheesy duck in an edible pretty pumpkin bowl. / 훈제오리단호박찜

A blooming pumpkin duck dish! Perfect festive dish for your holiday!

Ingredients (serving for 2)
1ea Kabocha squash (Japanese pumpkin)
250g Smoked duck
1/2 onion
1/2 carrot
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1 hot pepper
1cup Mozzarella cheese
parsley flakes for garnish
Sauce : 1tbsp red pepper paste, 1tbsp red pepper flakes, 1tbsp soy sauce, 1tbsp corn syrup, 1tsp plum syrup, salt and pepper

1. Wash Kabocha squash in water and cut the center of the top. scoop out seeds inside of the pumpkin and wrap with plastic warp. Microwave for 10minutes until it’s soft inside. In the meantime, cut veggies into cubes. Make seasoning sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients.

2. Cook smoked duck on a pan over medium high heat. Add in veggies, stir-fry until veggies are 80% cooked, then add the sauce, stir fry couple more minutes.

3. Stuff smoked duck stir fry into the pumpkin. Cover with mozzarella cheese and top with some dried parsley. Bake them in the oven at 370F for 10-15mintues.

4. Cut the pumpkin along the pumpkin stripes. Then it will bloom like a flower! :D
